Satisfaction Guaranteed
Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. We guarantee the merchandise purchased to meet with your complete satisfaction. If for any reason,  you are not satisfied with any item(s) received from us, it may be returned for credit or refund within one week after receipt. Please see "Returns & Replacements" below for additional information and contact us immediately for return authorization. Privacy & Security
We are privately owned and operated. We do not sell or share any of your personal information with anyone or anything.
We do not sell or solicit business via phone, email or mail.
Email addresses are used only to send confirmations of shipment, tracking information for your order(s) and to contact you in the event a question arises about your order.
We maintain a SSL security system that encrypts your personal information to protect your privacy and integrity.
Returns & Replacements
Please note that we cannot accept return of any merchandise unless the return has been authorized prior to it's return. Please call (618-931-7870) or email (customer-service@black-bear-haversack.com) for authorization and shipping method to return merchandise. We cannot be responsible for merchandise returned without authorization or the cost incurred by for returns without prior authorization. Items returned after the 7 day policy will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, depending on the circumstances.
Note: Merchandise that has been price marked, shelf worn or removed from its original packaging cannot be accepted for return. Refunds will be given in US Dollars which will be posted as a credit on your credit card.
Credit Cards
For your convenience, we accept payment by either Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express (the cards can be either credit - debt or gift cards).
Please note: your credit card isn't billed at the time of check out. Credit cards are not billed until your order has been picked, packed and labed with a shipping tag.

November 12th -13th Veteran's Day (expect delays in shipping orders out... orders placed during 10th - 13th will start shipping out Monday 14th when shipping resumes)
November 22nd and 23rd - Thanksgiving Holiday
December 24th and 25th - Christmas Holiday
December 26th 2018 through January 6th 2018. We are closed for year end inventory.
            During this time period we still accept orders, phone calls and emails.... But we
            do not ship orders. We will resume shipping on January the 7th 2019.
Hours of Operations
Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm CST
Saturday and Sunday - closed.
Emails and voice mail messages can always be left during holidays, weekends and closed hours.
We will respond or call you back during business hours on the next business day.
Backorders
We do not backorder merchandise not available at the time of shipment without your permission.
Shortages on orders are cut from the order and the invoice adjusted accordingly before billing your credit card for small quanitities.
Large quantities shortages, we will notify you by email or phone of the shortage and ask if you want the merchanise backordered.
If you want merchanise backordered, we will automically create the backorder in our sytem. Once the product becomes available, we will ship the backorder out and bill your credit card accordingly for the merchanise and shipping.
Claims and Damaged Merchandise
We inspect all merchandise for damage before shipping and make every effort to package items to prevent breakage during shipping.
However, damages can occur.
Any claims for breakage, damages or loss must be reported within 24 hrs of receipt in order to receive compensation. You will need to contact us either by phone (618-931-7870) or email (customer-service@black-bear-haversack.com) so we can instruct you as to what steps to take to receive compensation.
We reserve the right to either refund your credit card or replace the item(s) due to breakage, damage or loss.
Minimums
There is no minimum order amount.
You can order as little as you need or as much as you want.
We treat all orders with the same importance no matter how big or how small.
Prices
We endeavor to keep our prices and minimum quantities for the best price as low as possible and will pass on price reductions where possilbe.
However, occasionally we are forced to change some of our price.
Should a change be necessary, we will contact you via phone or email prior to billing and shipping your order. Although rare, prices listed are subject to change.
Shipping Methods
We attempt to ship all orders within 1-2 business days after receiving the order.
Orders placed on Friday or during the weekend will be shipped out on Monday or Tuesday.
Our shipping methods are USPS or UPS.
Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of the order.

Shipping Cost & Handling
We have the most reasonable shipping cost you will find. The reason why is because we make no money on shipping. We only charge actual shipping fees.
Whatever USPS or UPS charges to ship your order is what we charge.
At anytime during your shopping, you can go to your shopping cart to get an estimated shipping cost for the contents of your cart without having to check out.
Although flat rate boxes are not options during the check out process, we take it upon ourselves to use flat rate boxes in the event by using a flat rate box it will reduce your shipping cost and save you $$$ (provided the order will fit into the flat rate box). If a flat rate box can be used, we will adjust the invoice to the reduce flat rate pricing before billing your credit card.
We recommend order over $100.00 to be shipped by UPS Ground as all packages are insured through UPS and also have a spectaculare tracking system in the event
a package comes up missing. If you select USPS for high dollar orders (close to or over $100 order value) we will automatically add insurance to the shipment and the customer will be billed according.
We do charge a $1.00 handling fee per package for all orders shipped through USPS and a $3.00 handling fee per package for all orders shipped through UPS.
Purchase Order Requirments
Net term 30 days may be extended to specific accounts that have been preapproved by our credit department prior to placing orders using the "Purchase Order" option.
If you have not established an open account terms and wish to do so, you will need to contact us via emal (customer-service@black-bear-haversack.com) or contact us by phone (618-931-7870).
Accounts with past due balances will be assessed a monthly service charge of 1-1/2%of the unpaid balance or an amount not to exceed the statutory limit of the applicable state.
Black Bear Haversack Trading Post reserves the right not to grant open credit statues to those accounts it deems unqualified. BBH also reserves the right to refuse to continue doing open credit transactions with those accounts that have abused the terms.
Wholesale Account Requirments
We are required by law for those customers that are purchasing for the purpose of reselling, to keep sales tax #'s, Illinois CRT-61 Certificate and state sales tax license #'s on file.
Wholesales, groups and organizations are required to register with us and to supply their sales tax ID numbers during the registration. You must register. You can not purchase as a guest.
All Illinois wholesalers must supply us with an Illinois CRT-61 Certificate of resale form via email. All other wholesalers within the US not in the state of Illinois must supply us with a copy of your Sales Tax License issued by your state via email.
